Couples Counselling
Couples counselling is a space where partners can slow down and talk about what’s really going on underneath the arguments. Many couples come in feeling stuck in the same fights, one person may push for answers, the other may pull away, and both end up feeling hurt or alone. These patterns are not as a sign that the relationship is broken, but a sign that both partners are trying to protect themselves when they feel hurt and disconnected.
In therapy, the focus isn’t on blaming or deciding who’s right. Instead, I will support each of you in understanding the deeper feelings underneath one another's reactions, things like fear of losing the other person, feeling unimportant, or longing to feel close and secure again.
As those deeper emotions start to come out, partners begin to see each other differently. The anger or distance that once felt like rejection can start to make more sense as pain or a need for reassurance. When partners are able to respond to those vulnerable feelings with care and understanding, it often creates moments of real connection.
Over time, the aim is to help you both build a stronger emotional bond, one where you both feel safe to be open, to reach for each other, and to know that the other will respond.
$200 for 75 minutes.
