Many people come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of why certain situations trigger strong reactions. From my nonjudgemental and empathetic approach, I view those emotions not as problems to get rid of, but as important signals that tell us about our needs, fears, and longings for connection.
In therapy, the focus is on gently exploring and processing those feelings. I will support you in noticing what’s happening inside, maybe there’s sadness, anger, fear, withdrawal, or a deep wish to feel accepted and safe. As those emotions become clearer, they often start to make more sense.
Over time, you may respond to your emotions with more understanding instead of self-criticism. People often begin to feel more grounded and compassionate toward themselves. This inner shift can also change how they relate to others, helping you in reaching out when you want to, set boundaries, and connect in healthier ways.
I will support you in feeling more at ease with yourself, so you can move through life and relationships with more confidence, clarity, and emotional connection.
